Michelle L Anderson
Michelle is a children’s author, publisher, educator and advocate who believes every child deserves to feel seen, heard, valued and empowered. With a background in Early Childhood education and Family Studies, Michelle has dedicated her career to supporting children and families through education and trauma informed programming. Michelle is also the Founder and Executive Director of April's Voice, an organization that educates the community on CSA prevention and empowers children to use their voice and teaches them about healthy boundaries. She is the author of more than 20 children’s books and self-guided journals, creating stories that help children explore friendship, family, emotions, resilience, self-worth and personal safety in ways that are engaging and age appropriate.
Through her books and her April's Voice initiative, Michelle uses the power of storytelling to help children find their voices and give parents, educators and communities meaningful tools to have important conversations with children.
